Striper fishing is still the best. Shore fishing for the striper has slowed somewhat but boat action remains good. Smaller striper are hitting at the inlet and dam off of chicken liver, bigger fish are still hitting in the channels. Bass are starting to become active once again, it looks like they are moving back in to spawn.

These are the following fish report:

Bass: Good
Bluegill: Fair
Carp: Good
Catfish: Poor
Crappie: Poor
Striper: Good with an Average size of 3 lbs.
Trout: Poor

Striper remain the best bite this week. East end and Ramp #2 are the best hot spots for the bigger fish, but large numbers of smaller striper are being reported coming in near the dam and inlet. Chicken liver and anchovies are working best. Bass are starting to move back into the shallows. Striper once again stole the show. Striper are hitting both chicken liver and anchovies in the East end channel as well as the Ramp #2 channel. Shore fishing for the striper is okay off of Marina Point and points around Ramp #2. Some more cats are also starting to show, and bass are slowly coming back to their beds to spawn.
