Striper remain the best bite this week. East end and Ramp #2 are the best hot spots for the bigger fish, but large numbers of smaller striper are being reported coming in near the dam and inlet. Chicken liver and anchovies are working best. Bass are starting to move back into the shallows.

Bass: Fair
Bluegill: Fair
Carp: Good
Catfish: Fair
Crappie: Poor
Striper: Excellent with an Average size of 1-3 lbs.
Trout: Fair

The recent water drop and cold spell has not been good for the Bass and Bluegill, but has done wonders for the striper and trout. Trout have been doing well near Ramp #2 morning hitting rainbow trout bait. Striper still hitting anchovies in the East end and off points near Ramp #2. Fishing remained good this past week with stripers stealing the show. Shore fishing has improved for stripers at the Marina point int eh morning and Ramp #2 in the afternoon. Anchovies remain the best, but many fishermen are reporting increase in fish off of chicken liver in the East end.
