Striper once again stole the show. Striper are hitting both chicken liver and anchovies in the East end channel as well as the Ramp #2 channel. Shore fishing for the striper is okay off of Marina Point and points around Ramp #2. Some more cats are also starting to show, and bass are slowly coming back to their beds to spawn.

These are the following fish reports:

Bass: Fair
Bluegill: Fair
Carp: Good with an Average size of 8 lb.
Catfish: Fair
Crappie: Poor
Striper: Excellent with an Average size of 3 lb.
Trout: Fair

The recent water drop and cold spell has not been good for the Bass and Bluegill, but has done wonders for the striper and trout. Trout have been doing well near Ramp #2 morning hitting rainbow trout bait. Striper still hitting anchovies in the East end and off points near Ramp #2. Fishing remained good this past week with stripers stealing the show. Shore fishing has improved for stripers at the Marina point int eh morning and Ramp #2 in the afternoon. Anchovies remain the best, but many fishermen are reporting increase in fish off of chicken liver in the East end.
