Striper boils are still being spotted throughout the day all around the lake, best times being first thing in the morning and the last couple hours in the canal up front have been most productive. Other anglers have been trolling around the lake using umbrella rigs, heavy kastmasters, and leadheads to come across stripers during the heat of the day. Spooning down deep has also been a great method to catch stripers throughout the day. Bass have been biting along the grasslines of the lake on various soft plastic baits like senkos, flukes, and roboworms and top water baits during the first couple hours of the day. Fishing down deep off steeper walls and drop offs using jigs have also been working well when the bite is tough. Catfish have also been biting very consistent in the coves around the lake on anchovies, sardines and mackerel.
