Recent cool weather has slowed fishing down a bit. But fishing remained rather good over all. Striper are hitting well at the Inlet and back in the East end. Bass are still bitting as well and some fishermen have been spot fishing from shore. Most trout action is coming out of the East end. Some more stray cats reported as well as Bluegills.

These are the following fish reports

Bass: Good with an Average size of 3 pounds.
Bluegill: Poor
Carp: Poor
Catfish: Fair
Crappie: Poor
Striper: Good with Average size of 3 pounds
Trout: Good with an Average size of 1.50 pounds.

This past week the story has been all about bass, both the Largemouth Bass and the Striper. Striper fishing is excellent, with fish coming in all over the lake. Cut anchovies are the best bet at the Inlet and drifting the East end as well as shore fishing Marina point and Ramp #2. Striper action was the best this past week with schoolies showing up in the East end, Inlet and Ramp #2. Anchovies are still the best ticket. Bass action has improved yet again with Bass hitting dark Plastics and Night crawlers in the East end and along the South shore. Trout have dropped off a bit.
