Striper action was the best this past week with schoolies showing up in the East end, Inlet and Ramp #2. Anchovies are still the best ticket. Bass action has improved yet again with Bass hitting dark Plastics and Night crawlers in the East end and along the South shore. Trout have dropped off a bit. But people are still having luck soaking Powerbait and inflated worms near Ramp #2.
These are the following ratings:
Bass: Good with an Average size of 3 pounds.
Bluegill: Poor
Carp: Poor
Catfish: Poor
Crappie: Poor
Striper: Excellent with an Average size of 3 pounds.
Trout: Good with an Average size 1 1/2 pounds.

Lake SkinnerWhile both Trout and Striper remain strong Bass have been the BIG story this past week as they seem to be biting well on dark plastics and nightcrawers at the east end. Trout are hitting the Roster tails, Spoons and Powerbait at ramp #2. The Striper are still hitting the Anchovies at the inlet as well as ramp #2 from shore. Lake SkinnerStriper remained strong this past week with more line sides being reported coming in from shore near Ramp #2. For boaters, the Inlet has been the best and a few fishermen have been having some lock with Top water Plugs.
