While both Trout and Striper remain strong Bass have been the BIG story this past week as they seem to be biting well on dark plastics and nightcrawers at the east end. Trout are hitting the Roster tails, Spoons and Powerbait at ramp #2. The Striper are still hitting the Anchovies at the inlet as well as ramp #2 from shore.

These are the following Fish Reports:

Bass: Good avg. 3lbs.
Bluegill: Poor
Carp: Poor
Catfish: Poor
Crappie: Poor
Striper: Excellent avg. 3lbs.
Trout: Excellent avg. 2lbs.

Notable Catches:
Wade Dackey from Oceanside 23lbs. Striper stringer of 8 largest fish 5lbs. on anchovies at the inlet
Kevin Jackson from Corona 7lbs. Bass stringer of 2 largest fish 5lbs. on blue plastic worm at east end
Kelly Dobson from Riverside 4lbs. stringer of 2 Trout largest 3lbs. on roster tail at ramp #2

Striper remained strong this past week with more line sides being reported coming in from shore near Ramp #2. For boaters, the Inlet has been the best and a few fishermen have been having some lock with Top water Plugs. With a Trout stock this past week trout has been the best action. Trout are hitting spoons and spinner baits int he morning and hitting mix color powerbait and blown up nightcrawlers later in the day. Best spots have been Ramp #2 and East End.
