Trout action is still slow but it has improved this week with the
increased water flow and continued lake maintenance. Anglers used night
crawlers, jigs, lures and power bait ( especially red,
white and blue and sherbet) to catch limits.
Hot spots were the eastern shore and northern shore of lake 2 and the
grassy point of lake 3. Bass bite has also improved with anglers
reporting fair action at the western shore of lake 3 and the
southeastern shore of lake 2 on senkos. Bluegill were hitting lures and
meal worms near the pump house and the western shore of lake 2.
Overall best bite was before 11am. The pay per trout Angling Pond was the best
bet after 11am, where anglers paid $3.50 per trout with no limit.

The Lakes' Hatchery stocks trout every Friday year round.

The heat continues to keep the bite slow with anglers using night crawlers, lures, jigs and plastics to catch trout limits.
