The heat continues to keep the bite slow with anglers using night
crawlers, lures, jigs and plastics to catch trout limits. The biological
algicide has cleared most of the mat and the lakes continue to improve.
The increased water flow has also helped the bite. Hot spots were the
eastern shore and northern shore of lake 2. Bass slowed as well with
anglers reporting fair action at the western shore of lake 3 and the
southeastern shore of lake 2 on senkos. Bluegill were hitting lures and
mealworms near the pump house and the western shore of lake 2. Overall
best bite was before 10am. The pay per trout Angling Pond was the best
bet after 10am, where anglers paid $3.50 per trout with no limit.

The Lakes' Hatchery stocks trout every Friday year round.

Hours: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays--7am to 4pm. For more information
