Trout bite has improved slightly this week with anglers using power bait
( especially rainbow, orange and lime twist), night crawlers, and lures
to catch limits. The biological algicide has cleared most of the mat and
the increased water flow has also helped the bite. Hot spots were the
eastern shore and northern shore of lake 2 and the grassy point of lake 3.
Bass bite has also improved with anglers reporting fair action at the
western shore of lake 3 and the southeastern shore of lake 2 on senkos.
Bluegill were hitting lures and meal worms near the pump house and the
western shore of lake 2. Overall best bite was before 10am. The pay per
trout Angling Pond was the best bet after 10am, where anglers paid $3.50
per trout with no limit.

The Lakes' Hatchery stocks trout every Friday year round.

Hours: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays--7am to 4pm. For more information
