The largemouth and smallmouth bass are biting good.Small plastics and spoons are working good. There have still been some bass chasing shad in the backs of coves. The stripers are biting spoons in 40 to 75ft. The catfish and bluegill have been slow.

Castaic LakeFishing at Castaic is good for largemouth and smailmouth bass. Drop shotting and splitshottinq roboworms in 15 to 40 ft working good. Small jerkbaits and spoons also working for bass. Some good striper action on swimbaits after trout plants, linker punker and huddlestons working good. The bait bite for the stripers is fair. Crappie have showed up and are big ones.
