Fishing at Castiac is good if you can find the schools. Bass and stripers are biting spoons and ice jigs in 30 to 50 ft. The bass are also biting small plastics in 15 to 35 ft. The bait bite for the stripers has been slow. We should be receiving a trout plant soon. Catfish has been slow.

The stripers are biting lugworms and bloodworms in 40 to 80 ft. Trolling umbrella rigs and spoons has also been working. The largemouth and smallmouth bass fishing has been good.
