Fishing at Castaic is good for largemouth and smailmouth bass. Drop shotting and splitshottinq roboworms in 15 to 40 ft working good. Small jerkbaits and spoons also working for bass. Some good striper action on swimbaits after trout plants, linker punker and huddlestons working good. The bait bite for the stripers is fair. Crappie have showed up and are big ones. Wax worms are working best for crappie. We should be receiving a trout plant soon.
