Castaic received a trout plant last week. Quite a few good size stripers were caught on swimbaits. The largemouth and smallmouth bass are still chasing bait in the mornings in the back of coves. The bait bite for stripers has been slow. The catfish bite has been slow but a few good ones have been caught lately on cutbait.
