Fishing is very good. The stripers and bass are boiling on shad. Topwater and other shad pattern lures are working best. The average size striper is 61b. The largemouth and smallmouth bass are boiling very good in the back of coves. The cutbait bite for stripers and catfish has been slow. The bluegill bite is slowing down.

Fishing at Castaic is very good. The stripers are boiling good. Topwater and other shad pattern lures are working best. The largemouth and smallmouth bass are boiling good. Coves have been the best for largemouth and smallmouth bass. The catfish has been slow. Fishing is still very good. Big stripers are still boiling. Topwater, kastmasters and other shad pattern lures are working best. Largemouth and smalimouth bass are chasing shad in the mornings and evenings. Flukes and small shad pattern lures are working best for the bass boils.
