Fishing is still very good. Big stripers are still boiling. Topwater, kastmasters and other shad pattern lures are working best. Largemouth and smalimouth bass are chasing shad in the mornings and evenings. Flukes and small shad pattern lures are working best for the bass boils. Small plastics are also working for bass in 5 to 25 ft. Catfish has been slow. Bluegil is starting to slow down a bit but this year was very good for bluegill. Catfish has been slow but a few are being caught on mackerel and anchovies.
