Fishing at Castaic is very good. The stripers are boiling good. Topwater and other shad pattern lures are working best. The largemouth and smallmouth bass are boiling good. Coves have been the best for largemouth and smallmouth bass. The catfish has been slow. Bluegill are starting to slow down a bit but they are still biting waxworms and mealworms in shallow brush.

Fishing is still very good. Big stripers are still boiling. Topwater, kastmasters and other shad pattern lures are working best. Largemouth and smalimouth bass are chasing shad in the mornings and evenings. Flukes and small shad pattern lures are working best for the bass boils.
