The howling winds have finally started to subside. A few big crappie were caught this weekend in the 2-31b. range. Trout are still being caught but not in the numbers they were before. The trout, fish and wildlife planted last week should start biting anyday now that the weather is heating up. The large mouth still havnt started biting yet, but the smallies are still coming in at a slow but steady pace. A few cats are being pulled in here and there, but the numbers are not very significant.

Tidbits: White seabass is the largest of the croaker family. Chilean sea bas is not a seabass it is a cod icefish. The real name of the fish is a patagonian toothfish. The seabass name was made up so as to be more appealing to the consumer.
