THE PLANT IS ON.. LAST WEEK 2000 LBS WENT INTO THE LAKE JUST IN TIME FOR THE DERBY!
TROUT ARE BITING, WORMS ARE STILL THE TICKET.
The bass bite got a litftle better and 6 croppie were reported in the 2 lb range it will be a great weekend for the derby catfish are making a comeback and they are killing them on mackerel.

This last week the winds have been horrific on the lake here with winds between fifteen and sixty miles per hour. The trout are still biting but the winds have been making it difficult to fish in. The trout bite is still going strong with fish in the 3 to 6 lb. range. The same lures are still being hit, firetiger patterns and this week chrome kastmasters and silver needle fish are being hit. Night crawlers with a bobber are still the way to go if you are going to fish bait. The small mouth bass are starting to show now with one fisherman getting 7 legals.
