Largemouth and smallmouthbass are still biting good.Plastic worms fished in 2 to 20 ft is working best. Stripers are starting to pick up.Most stripers are being caught trolling shad pattern lures 20 to 50 ft deep. More stripers have been caught on bait lately. Lugworms and night crawlers are working best.A few trout have been caught this last couple weeks all over the lake on a variety of baits.Catfish and bluegill are slow.

Castaic LakeLargemouth and smallmouth bass fishing is still very good at Castaic.Most fish are being caught on plastic worms in 2 to 15 ft deep.Striper fishing is slow but we have been seeing more caught lately. Most bass are being caught in 2 to 15ft.Coves and points are the best spots.Striper fishing has been fair.Most stripers are being caught on lugworms and nightcrawlers.
