Largemouth and smallmouth bass fishing is still very good at Castaic.Most fish are being caught on plastic worms in 2 to 15 ft deep.Striper fishing is slow but we have been seeing more caught lately. Most stripers are being caught on lugworms and nightcrawlers in 30 to 75ft.Bluegil have been picking up. meal worms and wax worms are working best in shallow brush.Catfish and trout have been slow.

Bass fishing at Castaic is very good.The bass are biting a variety of plastic baits and reaction baits. Most bass are being caught in 2 to 15ft.Coves and points are the best spots.Striper fishing has been fair.Most stripers are being caught on lugworms and nightcrawlers.
