Bass fishing at Castaic is very good.The bass are biting a variety of plastic baits and reaction baits. Most bass are being caught in 2 to 15ft.Coves and points are the best spots.Striper fishing has been fair.Most stripers are being caught on lugworms and nightcrawlers. The catfish and bluegil bite has been slow.Trout fishing is fair right now with small schools of trout spread out around the lake. Most the trouthave been seen in back of coves and pockets.
