Largemouth and smallmouth bass are wide open at Castaic.Plastic worms and creature baits fished in 2 to 15ft are working best.Jerkbaits and flukes are also working good.The bluegil are starting to bite in shallow bushes on wax worms and meal worms.The striper fishing has been slow.Catfish has been slow. A fewTrout have been caught here and there all over the lake in the past two weeks.
