Good afternoon everybody, Capt. Jason here from the Coral Sea. What a great day fishing, lots of rockfish, some whitefish and sheephead.  The day  started off slow but picked up as the day went on.  
19 Anglers, 4 Sheephead, 24 Whitefish, 93 Red Rockfish, 97 various Rockfish. 
The hot ticket was smaller hooks, light line 4to 6 ounce sinker and a single Squid strip. Any type of Luer today did not work at all. 
Next half-day trip is on Sunday.  I wish I could tell you we saw lots of great stuff today but it was so foggy we could barely see the bow of the boat. The Coral Sea is 1/2 day Sunday with plenty of room, 3/4 day Monday-Wednesday, 1/2 day Thursday, Friday & Sunday next week. Please make your reservations online from our website or call 805-963-3564.
