Good afternoon anglers... We are heading back from the islands while the crew processes the days catch with many of our people enjoying the cooler weather and calm seas..

We headed across today with 39 eager anglers on board and went looking in the shallow water around the west end of Santa Cruz. Our morning was productive on both copper Rockfish as well and Whitefish. After a couple hours of fishing I decided to move to a different area to see if we could find some Lingcod and unfortunately all we found was raging current.. Too many tangles sent us back into the shallows and picked and scratched the rest of our day together. Our group stuck with it and put together a nice day when everything was said and done.

Our totals for the day were 226 Rockfish, 141 Whitefish, 11 Sheephead and 1 Lingcod.
