Good afternoon folks we are making our way back from the islands today with our 26 person Charter group put together by Loc Tran relaxing eating fish plates and cheeseburgers in flat calm weather here today.

We got off the dock early and opted to take advantage and make a long run up the front side of Santa Rosa Island.  While the fishing was never wide open we were able to piece together a nice day with some excellent quality to go in everyone's bag.  We did a little fishing in the deeper water however the areas in 150 feet and less were more productive.  Great group on board today and it was a pleasure to have all of them on board.

We caught most of our fish today on the live sardine and Squid strips while select few that were fishing the mega bait style lures did quite well at times.   Fishing shallow lately more than usual those who like to fish really short monofilament topshots on there spectra sacrificed a lot of bites today.  Please make sure you have at least 30 yards of monofilament on top of spectra if you are coming out with us.

Our 26 anglers 157 Copper Rockfish, 45 misc. Rockfish, 3 ocean Whitefish, 2 Sheephead and 71 Lingcod.

Both boats are full for tomorrow and for sure fishing Tuesday with the Stardust on a 1/2 Day and the Coral Sea on a 3/4 Day trip. Monday is up in the air due to weather however Tuesdays weather looks great.   Call Sea Landing at 805 963 3564 or visit our website to book your reservation online.
