Saturday July 9th, 2016 Stardust Island 3/4 day Good afternoon anglers we are making our way home with our 32 anglers relaxing in nice traveling conditions and sunny skies. The weather stayed pretty nice throughout the day with only 12 knots of wind at the most which made for pleasant fishing conditions. The first hour of our day today was tough with many tangles and not much biting.. We switched areas a little and from then on were able to consistently pick at nice quality mixed Rockfish including some very nice Reds, Coppers. Slower day for us on the Lingcod with many shorts making it frustrating at times. Our group today consisted of a lot of new faces and I would like to thank everyone on board for doing such an awesome job today. All together our 32 anglers on board put together a nice day with 49 Reds, 137 Coppers, 46 misc. Rockfish and 23 Lingcod. The Stardust is running a 3/4 day tomorrow with a few spots remaining and a 1/2 day on Monday with a light load. The Coral Sea still has space on there 1/2 day tomorrow and a couple openings for 3/4 day trips Monday- Wednesday.
