This week has been perfect weather for fishing with low winds and warming tempts, but still no pressure fishing wise with only a few anglers coming out. This weekend one angler in the afternoon hooked a 2.5 lb large mouth right in front of lil’ cachuma bay. She was using a plastic swim jig with a neon painted tail and was working the drop off and rocks. In the same area she also caught a 8lb carp using a neon rattle trap working the same drop off’s. Other than that fishing has been slow this week, other than a few catfish caught from shore with night crawlers and mackerel.
