Fish Plants: Next trout stock is Tuesday, April 14th
Lake Hours: 6:15am - 6:15pm
Weather: The Forecasts show temperatures in the low 50's to mid 80's.
BASS
The bass bite is still at its best! Anglers are catching quality bass between 2-6 pounds. The bass are in post spawn now and the bite is light. They are in the shallows between 5-15ft and some are suspended in the rocky areas. Swim baits, senkos, and dropshotting plastics are working best for catching bass. Anglers are catching the majority of the bass off the points.
STRIPER
The striper bite is on and off. Anglers are still catching some between 4-7 pounds. Swim baits and sardines are recommended for catching striper. Most of the stripers have been caught off shore. Striper fishing is best after a trout stock and on stormy, overcast days.
CATFISH
There were few reports of catfish this week. Stink bait, cut bait and night crawlers work best for catfish.
PANFISH
There has been many reports of redear caught between 1-2 pounds! Mealworms, night crawlers and jigs are recommended for catching panfish.
TROUT
Anglers are catching trout between 2-6 pounds! Most of the trout are being caught off shore. Nightcrawlers, rooster tails and kastmasters have been the go-to bait for trout. The best time to fish for trout is after a stock. Depending on the weather, the trout bite normaly remains consistant for about a week after a trout stock.

April 25, 2012: Nhan Doan of LA caught a 34.77 pound striper. Location not specified.
Lake Record Largemouth Bass
March 16, 2007: Mike Long of Poway, 16.43 lb bass. He was fishing the west dam with a 6" "Real Trout" Rago swimbait.

March 30, 2015: Jesse Mena of Hemet caught a 4.72 pound redear fishing with a nightcrawler.

March 2, 2012: Richard Skilliter of Anaheim caught a 56.8 pound catfish fishing with shrimp.

March 14, 2009: Andrew Avalos of Hemet caught a 15.45 pound trout. He was fishing with Powerbait near the east dam.
