NOW HERE'S THE BIG NEWS---------------It's Trout Season.?? That's right and our official 2007 Trout Season Grand Opening is Thursday, October 18th, a big four day weekend.?? Thousands and thousands of pounds of beautiful Rainbow Trout will be stocked for this big Trout Grand Opening on Thursday, October 18th.?? There will be many limits of great eating pan sized one to two pound trout stocked.?? This will be the first stocking of Trophy sized Rainbows in the 8 to 12 pound class, maybe even larger.?? You just don't want to miss this big kick off to the 2007 Trout Season.?? There will be plenty of trout and many Trophy sized Rainbows will be landed.

ALL YOU 24 HOUR FISHERMEN LISTEN UP------------We will have 24 hour fishing every weekend through out the month of October only.?? Then in November and through out Trout Season, 24 hour fishing will be on full moon weekends only, with the first 24 hour, full moon occurring on November 23rd and 24th.?? So its 24 hour fishing every weekend through out the month of October, then no 24 hour fishing until November 23rd and 24th.

SO DON'T MISS THE BIG TROUT OPENER----------On Thursday, October 18th and you will be able to buy 24 hour passes for the opening weekend.

The bite continues to be good for both catfish and tilapia at Corona Lake. The catfish bite has been best at night or in deeper water from boats during the day. Good catfish action at Santa Ana River Lakes with a flurry of double-digit fish caught this past week. The big lake and Catfish Lake have been the best spots to fish with Chris' Pond being very difficult to fish because of the steep sides because of low water levels.
