Lake Hours: 6:15am-6:15pm
Weather: The Forecasts show temperatures in the mid 50's to mid 80's.
BASS
The bass bite remains consistent! Anglers are catching bass between 2-5 pounds. The bass are in the 15-30 ft range. Drop shotting purple, pink and green colored plastics works best for catching bass. Senko's and crank baits are also working great! If the algae remains at the surface of the water, try using plastics that are a different shade of green than the algae.
STRIPER
Anglers are catching few stripers between 5-6 pounds. When shad and trout are breaking the surface, it's best to use lures that mimic them for top water boils.
CATFISH
There were few reports of catfish caught this week between 4-5 pounds. Stink bait and cut bait work best for catfish.
PANFISH
There were few panfish caught this week a pound and under. Night crawlers and mealworms work best for catching panfish.
TROUT
Anglers are catching trout between 3-6 pounds! Powerbait, night crawlers and mini jigs work best for trout. Kyle Warren of Murrieta caught a 6 pound trout using a white streamer on a fly rod off shoreline.
