BASS Anglers are catching bass between 3-4 pounds. Dropshotting creature baits in the 50-60 ft range works best for catching bass. Shad like lures and night crawlers will also work great.

STRIPER The striper bite has been on and off. There were a few caught between 4-6 pounds this week. Trolling Swim baits and flies in the morning work best for striper. When shad and trout are breaking the surface, it's best to use lures that mimic them for top water boils. Cut bait also works great for striper.

CATFISH Anglers are catching many catfish between 6-14 pounds! Stink bait and cut bait work best for catfish. Noel Marques of Fontana and Jose Luis Hernandez, pictured above of Huntington Park caught a couple nice catfish near the south east dam using anchovies. Their catfish weighed 11.74 pounds and 13.97 pounds!

PANFISH Anglers are catching panfish a pound and under! Night crawlers and mealworms work best for panfish.

TROUT Anglers are catching many trout between 4-7 pounds! Rooster tails, kasmasters and mini jigs work best for trout.
