BASS
Bass have been difficult to catch this week. Anglers are catching bass in the 30-50 ft range dropshotting creature baits and swimbaits. Shad like lures and night crawlers will also work great for bass.

STRIPER There were a few stripers caught this week between 5-10 pounds! Swim baits work best for striper. 12 year old John Nievar pictured above caught a 6.64lb and an 8.86lb striper using swimbaits on the points. When shad and trout are breaking the surface, it's best to use lures that mimic them for top water boils.

CATFISH
Catfish picked up this week! Many were caught between 5-8 pounds. Stink bait and cut bait work best for catfish.

PANFISH
Anglers are catching panfish a pound and under! Night crawlers and mealworms work best for panfish.

TROUT
The trout bite was phenomenal this week! Despite stormy weather, anglers were out catching nice ones between 4-7 pounds! Night crawlers, powerbait and mini jigs work best for trout. Chris Dodder, Photo #1 of Yucaipa caught a nice 4.14 pound and a 5.83 pound trout using tube jigs off shoreline!
