Corona Lake continues to be the favorite local hot spot for fantastic trout fishing. Here are some of the highlight catches for the past week. Robert Andre of Rancho Cucamonga caught 5 trout totaling 23 pounds, his largest trout weighing in at 12 pounds using a B-Line jig fishing from shore. Seth Morley, pictured above of Corona caught a 19 pound sturgeon using salmon eggs from a boat. Jarrod Hampen, Photo #1 of Moreno Valley caught a 10 pound 10 ounce trout using a white No Dough lure from shore. Dennis Ridgeway of Upland caught a 10 pound 8 ounce using rainbow Power-Bait rolled with garlic scented Hatchery Dust fishing at the Dam. Taylor Osgood of San Diego caught his first trout ever weighing in at 10 pounds 4 ounces using a yellow& gold Trout Trap fishing from a boat.
