Surface Water Temp: 70.5 degrees
Fish Plants: 2000 pound trout plant is scheduled for October 29th, 2013.
Lake Hours: 6:15am - 5:45pm
Weather: The Forecasts show temperatures in the low 40's to mid 70's this week with a chance of rain.
Upcoming Events: Diamond Valley Lake 10 year anniversary has been postponed to November!

BASS
Bass slowed down this week. Anglers are still catching smaller bass between 2-3 pounds. Plastics work best in the pink and shad colors. Shad like lures and night crawlers also work great for bass.
STRIPER
There were many stripers caught between 4-8 pounds. Cut bait and swim baits work best. When shad are breaking the surface, it's best to use a shad like lure for top water boils. John Sullivan and Claire Sullivan, pictured above caught three stripers! The biggest weighed 7.20 pounds and the total weight was 15.1 pounds!
CATFISH
Catfish were caught between 4-6 pounds this week! Mackerel, shrimp and nightcrawlers work best for catfish.
PANFISH
Panfish slowed down this week, yet anglers are still catching panfish by the pound! Night crawlers and mealworms work best for panfish.
TROUT
There were a few reports of trout caught this week. Most were caught between 1-3 pounds. Night crawlers and power worms work best for trout!
