Surface Water Temp: 75.8 degrees
Fish Plants: When surface water temperature is 72 degrees.
Lake Hours: 6:15am - 5:45pm
Weather: The Forecasts show temperatures in the mid 40's to high 80's this week. Drink plenty of water and watch out for snakes!

BASS
Anglers are catching smaller bass between 2-3 pounds. Plastics work best in the pink and green colors. Shad like lures and night crawlers also work great for bass.
STRIPER
Stripers slowed down this week but there were a few caught between 4-11 pounds. Cut bait and trolling with flies work best. When shad are breaking the surface, it's best to use a shad like lure for top water boils. Jesse Mena of Hemet caught a nice 10.56 pound striper using a top water lure near the west dam.
CATFISH
There were a many catfish caught this week between 4-6 pounds! Mackerel, anchovies and chicken liver work great for catfish.
PANFISH
Anglers are catching panfish between 1-2 ponds! Night crawlers and mealworms work best for panfish. Howie Weber, age 11, and Holden Weber, age 8, of Lake Elsinore caught a 1.14 pound bluegill using a night crawler off shoreline!
TROUT
No reports of trout caught this week. Typical bait for trout are mini jigs, powerbait and powerworms.
