Small bait fish have made an appearance under the docks this past week. Hopefully we will see some boils in the very near future. The Stripers have been hitting deep by Kong Island and the entrance to Necktie Canyon.

Largemouth have been hitting crank baits and worms from the shoreline.

The Striper bite is still doing great by the buoy line, Neck Tie Canyon and Kong Island. The most productive bait has been nightcrawlers fished at about 50'. The Striper bite continues to be in full force at Castaic Lake. Anglers are doing best with Sardines and Anchovies. The best spots of fish for the Stripers are the Buoy line and by Kong Island. Largemouth are also on the bite. Best locations for the Largies are Sharon's Rest and old SS. The Bass are biting either plastics or nightcrawlers.
