Bluegill have been caught like crazy by a man with some tricks. Can you imagine, he refused to let us in on his secrets.

Striped Bass continue to bit on swimbait and flukes off the dam. Largemouth stayed active at Firebreak and Coach coves.

Largemouth Bass and Carp are beginning to boil in the early morning. Trout were stocked last Monday. There will be no more trout stocks at Castaic Lake until next season in November. There are still trout left over from a fishing event that was held last Saturday. Anglers are still catching Stripers on swimbaits near the dam. Using a worm across the lake bed at about 15' is the best approach for Largemouth right now. ...... Read More
