Water Temperature: 63 Degrees
The Largemouth have been biting on nightcrawlers and plastic worms. Coach Cove has been the best location for the Largemouth. Firebreak Catfish have been on the bite at old S.S. Cove on mackerel.

Finally the Stripers have been biting in the Marina on Flukes and small swimbait.

Largemouth Bass and Carp are beginning to boil in the early morning. Trout were stocked last Monday. There will be no more trout stocks at Castaic Lake until next season in November. There are still trout left over from a fishing event that was held last Saturday. Anglers are still catching Stripers on swimbaits near the dam. Anglers are doing well at Lake Castaic fishing for Largemouth in Coves and around points. A good technique is to drag a worm across the bottom at a depth of 20 ft.
