Lake Skinner Park Hours: 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM Lake Skinner Marina Hours: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Water Temperature: Between 66 to 68 degrees
Water Conditions: Water flow is good, but water level is down 15 ft.

Remember Solar Cup is May 17-19. Lots of Algae bloom, so "Blue Stone" will soon be on the calendar.

Fish Reports:
Bluegill:
Are still active with crickets, red worms and night crawlers. Most of the action has been near the reeds east of Ramp 2 early in the morning. There are plenty of Bluegill beds.

Carp: There have been many big ones, hitting on anything.

Stripers: The only Striper reports we received were for 1/2 to 1 pounders being caught on umbrella rigs, with down rigs. Stripers can be found in the water column at about 50 to 60 ft. Some Stripers have been taken on nightcrawlers.

Catfish: The water temperature is still way to cold for the Catfish.

Largemouth: The spawn is over which will require some finesse using jigs, robo worms (purple Matlaton, Matins Magic, aarons magic, blue and black) then you can pull them out of the reeds.

Trout: We are still seeing some 2 to 3 pound holdovers caught in 10 to 15 ft. of water at Ramp 2, east of the south shore. They are hitting on nightcrawlers or PowerBait in rainbow colors.
