BASS
Bass fishing has been good. Luis and Jakob Morris, pictured above from Rancho Cucamonga caught two bass with nightcrawlers, the biggest weighing in at 7.04lbs. Anglers are catching bass around 30 ft of water. Majority of the fish reported were caught on senkos or dropshotting pink or purple plastic worms. Colored plastics, such as, Margarita mutilator and Morning dawn have been effective.

STRIPER
Stripers are still being caught. Recent catches have been in multiple areas. Try the I/O tower and around floating restroom #2.

CATFISH
Catfish are still going strong this week. 6 year old Haiden Mellor, Photo #1 from San Jacinto caught a 3.46lb catfish by the eucalyptus trees using a nightcrawler. Typical bait for the cats are nightcrawlers, chicken liver and shrimp. We are stocking 550 lbs of channel catfish this week.

TROUT
Trout have been very slow. The best depth for the trout are under 80 ft of water. Try trolling your best lure by the west dam. Powerbait, mini jigs, and nightcrawlers work well for trout when they are being caught.

PANFISH
Redear , crappie and blue gills have been hitting this week. Anglers reported limits of bluegill using jigs and mealworms by the east dam.
