The weather at Lake Skinner has been a mixed bag of hot, humid, windy and rainy. Lots of catfish have been caught making many happy anglers. Gary smith caught a 12.5 lb. catfish using nightcrawlers at the East End. We also had Ron Henderson, pictured catch a 15 lb. Catfish using chicken liver at the East end.

Stripers have been caught using a boat or fishing from shore. The best bait is nightcrawlers, mealworms and some plastics. Anglers have caught Bluegill at the Dam/Inlet area. They have been hitting on live crickets, mealworms and wax worms.

The next stocking of Cats will be on September 6th.
