The weather at Lake Skinner this week ranged from 100 to 115 degrees. Anglers were catching limits of catfish at Catfish Alley. Chicken liver or nightcrawlers we the bait of choice.
Stripers were caught by the dam and the inlet area. Early morning was the best time to fish for the stripers and the best bait was chicken liver or anchovies. The Bluegill bite was good early in the morning on live crickets, mealworms or wax worms.
