The temperatures were mild this week at Lake Skinner. Skinner had a good 4th of July with plenty of happy anglers went home with some nice catches. Bluegill were very active, and were aggressively hitting nightcrawlers on the west side of the lake. The west side of the lake was also good for Bass, although they were hitting plastics worms, anchovies and nightcrawlers. Stripers can be found by launch ramp 2 and have also been hitting anchovies. The next stocking of catfish will be on July 12, 2012. Come in and tell your fish stories and get your picture taken.
