Bass are hitting on some top water lures and plastic worms off the shorelines of the lake. Along the weed line is also a good place to fish and it is bringing some sizable fish for some anglers. Bluegill are still being caught from a boat in and around 15' to 20' of water near Bernascoli shore. Redear are after trout worms on the east end of the lake.

Bluegill is were the action is this week at Lake Perris. Everyone fishing in a boat at 15' to 25' of water are getting limits if they are using crickets. Redear are still taking trout worms by the Marina docks and the launch ramp. Bass are active in the mornings and the evenings. They are hitting drop shot rigs using plastic worms. The fish at Lake Perris are starting to move out to deeper waters. Bluegill are hitting on crickets and red worms. It is best to fish from a boat off the back side of the Island and Bernasconi shoreline at about 20 to 25 ft. of water. Bass are biting in the morning on plastic worms around the launch ramps and in Sail cove. Trout are still biting at night if you are using nightcrawlers....... Read More
