BASS
Bass fishing has been good. Anglers are catching bass anywhere between 30 ft to surface of water. Majority of the fish reported were caught on senkos or dropshotting pink or purple plastic worms. Joe Menegos from Spring Valley, photo # 1 caught a 8.97 lb bass on a jig. Colored plastics, such as, Margarita mutilator and Morning dawn have been effective.

STRIPER
Striper fishing is going strong. Recent catches have been at the bouy line by the I/O tower. Jesse Mena from Hemet, photo # 2 caught a 24.52 lb striper by the East Dam using flies. Anglers reported limits of 4-8 lb fish caught on sardines and anchovies.

CATFISH
Few catfish have been reported by anglers this week. There was a 18 pound catfish caught on Sunday. Nightcrawlers and shrimp work well for catfish. With the warmer weather these bad boys should be showing soon.

TROUT
No reports lately on any trout being caught. Powerbait, mini jigs, and nightcrawlers work well for trout when they are being caught.

PANFISH
Bluegill fishing is starting up by the East Dam ladders. Anglers reported limits of bluegill using jigs and mealworms. Still no crappie or redear reports yet.
