It was a beautiful week at Lake Skinner with temperatures in the mid 80's. The lack of cloud cover made for perfect weather for the Solar Cup event. Having said that, Largemouth Bass were active in the shallower waters. They were hitting on nightcrawlers and rubber worms.

Many happy anglers reeled in Bluegill between launch ramp 1 & 2. Bluegill were hitting on plastic grubs, mealworms and crickets. Catfish have started to show temselves over in Catfish alley.

Remember: June 1st, 2nd and 3rd is Balloon and Wine Festival. The lake will be CLOSED.
