We had an outstanding Cinco de Mayo aboard the Speed Twin out of Channel Islands Sportfishing in Oxnard. The weather forecast for the weekend was looking too good to be true, so I decided to spend the day with Captain Jordan Richard and Crew of the Speed Twin. It's been a while since I've had the pleasure to fish with Captain Richard, it's been even longer since I've had the opportunity to fish on the Speed Twin, what better way to spend the Cinco de Mayo weekend? First off, the Speed Twin is looking better than ever! This spacious vessel provides so much room and comfort for its anglers. That coupled by her new Crew, you're in for one incredible fishing experience! Captain Richard's persistence and quest to find nice grade fish that were willing to bite allowed for us to reach easy limits on our half-day trip. We loaded up our sacks with an assortment of Bankies, Chuckleheads, Reds, Starries, Grouper, and several nice Lingcod! The Speed Twin runs daily out of Channel Islands Sportfishing at 8am and will typically get you back in time to prepare fish tacos for dinner!
