It was a great spring break this week at Lake Skinner. Old and new anglers enjoyed the sun and 70 degree weather. Between launch ramp 1 and 2 anglers had luck catching trout on corn, garlic, chartreuse and orange power bait.

Largemouth Bass have also been extremely good for anglers between ramps 1 & 2, using nightcrawlers. In fact, a lake record was set by Chip Gilbert who caught a 15 lb. Largemputh Bass at the East End on a swim bait Huddleston. Striper action has been hot as well over by the inlet using chicken liver.

Park Hours: 6 AM to 10 PM Marina Hours: 6 AM to 5 PM Weather: Between 60 - 70 Degrees Striper action has been good this week using chicken livers and anchovies between ramps 1 & 2.
