Winter fishing has been good at Lake Skinner. Trout anglers have been doing well on rainbow, garlic and corn PowerBait, nightcrawlers, Rapalas and trout mallows.

Stripers have been elusive for anglers this week. Largemouth have been picking up this week using PowerBait worms in green pumpkin and nightcrawlers alkong the bottom edge. Anglers fishing from boats have been doing better than shore anglers, and over all PowerBait in the bright colors have been the most successful baits.

The next rout stocking will be on February 10, 2012.
